Here are some powerful duas (supplications) that hold spirituality in great significance in Islam and are commonly recited for various needs:

1. Dua for Protection

• “Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fi al-ardi wa la fi as-sama’i wa huwa as-Sami’ul ‘Alim.”
• Translation: “In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on Earth or in the heavens can harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
• This dua is found in Sunan Abu Dawood and Jami’ at-Tirmidhi.

2. Dua for Relief from Anxiety

• “Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.”
• Translation: “Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”

• “La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen.”
• Translation: “There is no deity except You. Glory is to You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”

• “A’udhu bi kalimatillahi tammati min sharri ma khalaq.”

•  “As’alu Allah al-‘Azim rabbil ‘Arshil ‘Azim an yashfiyak.”
•  Translation: “I ask Allah, the Almighty, the Lord of the Mighty Throne, to cure you.”
• This dua is mentioned in Sunan Abu Dawood for seeking Allah’s help in healing.
